1. Information we collect
- Account information: email address, authentication identifiers and account status.
- Purchase information: order ID, payment status, amount, date and gateway references. Full card details, UPI PINs and banking passwords are not collected by us.
- Learning information: completed problems, bookmarks, notes, confidence ratings, study goals and activity history.
- Support information: messages, attachments and contact details you provide when requesting help.
- Reminder preferences: phone number, timezone, reminder time and consent records only when you voluntarily enable WhatsApp reminders.
- Technical information: basic device, browser, security and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
2. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify payments, deliver access, synchronise learning progress, provide requested reminders, respond to support and refund requests, prevent fraud, maintain the platform and comply with legal obligations. Promotional messages require a separate choice and can be withdrawn.
3. Python code and local storage
The Python compiler is designed to run code in your browser. Do not enter secrets or sensitive personal data into the editor. Some preferences and learning progress may be stored locally on your device. Signed-in learners may synchronise eligible learning data with the account database.
4. Service providers and sharing
We may share only the information necessary with providers that help us deliver the service, such as Cashfree for payments, Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Cloudflare for hosting, security and content delivery. These providers process information under their own privacy and security obligations. We do not sell personal information.
5. Retention
We retain account, transaction and compliance records for as long as needed to provide access, handle disputes and meet tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and legal requirements. Learning and reminder data is retained while the account is active or until deletion is appropriately requested, subject to records we must legally preserve.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, encrypted connections and payment-gateway verification. No online system is completely risk-free. You are responsible for protecting access to your email and device.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete eligible personal information, withdraw optional communications consent, or raise a privacy concern by emailing pythonpracticelab@gmail.com. We may verify your identity before acting and may retain records required by law.
8. Children
The paid service is intended to be purchased by adults. A learner under 18 should use it only with the involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian, who should complete the purchase.
9. Policy changes
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The updated version and effective date will be published here.
